Pete's Firehouse BBQ WINS First Place in the BURGER Contest at the 2012 OC BBQ Festival

June 10, 2012 - Costa Mesa, CA
At the Annual OC BBQ Festival hosted by the Kristie's Foundation, Pete's Firehouse BBQ won FIRST PLACE in the Slater's 50/50 Restaurant OC BBQ BURGER Competition!  Competiting against 35 teams, our burger was awarded first place. The "Firehouse Patty" is made of ground Tri-Tip, Ground Pork and Ground Bacon!  We combine the three meats with our ORIGINAL BBQ Rub and Sauce.  The burger was topped with coleslaw, red onion, colby jack cheese and more bacon!  We top this off with more of our Pete's Firehouse BBQ Sauce.
Our award winning Burger is being featured as the "Burger of the Month" at all three Slater's 50/50 Restaurant locations.
